Privacy Policy
Effective date: November 4, 2026.
Who we are and what this covers
Invisible Strings Therapy is a virtual therapy and assessment practice run by Matt Jackson, LPA, serving people across Texas. In this policy, "we" means the practice and "you" means anyone who visits invisiblestringstherapy.com or contacts us through it.
This policy covers what happens when you visit the website and when you first reach out. If you become a client, your clinical information is protected by HIPAA and Texas law, as described in the Notice of Privacy Practices you receive at intake.
What the contact form collects
The Reach Out form asks only for what we need to get back to you and set up a free 15-minute consultation:
Your first and last name
Your email address
Your phone number
A subject, chosen from a short list
A brief description of what you're looking for
We use this information only to reply to you, usually by email and text within 24 hours, and to schedule your consultation. Please don't include detailed health information in the form. We'll talk about what brings you in during the consultation, where it's protected.
The form is part of our website, which runs on Squarespace. Squarespace stores your submission and sends it to our practice email. Google Analytics only records that a form was sent. It never sees what you wrote.
Calls, texts and email
You can also reach us by phone or text at 972-265-9302 or by email at matt@invisiblestringstherapy.com. Our email runs on Google Workspace, which is covered by a HIPAA business associate agreement. Text messages are less secure by nature, so please keep texts brief and save the details for your consultation.
If you call us directly from one of our Google ads, Google records basic details about the call so we can tell whether the ad worked: the time, how long the call lasted, and the caller's area code. Google doesn't record what is said.
Google Analytics, Google Ads and cookies
We use Google Analytics and Google Ads to learn which pages are helpful and whether our ads reach the right people. These tools use cookies, which are small files stored in your browser. They don't receive your name, your form answers, or the reason you're reaching out.
Tool: Google Analytics
What it collects: Pages you visit, how far you scroll, clicks on our phone or email links, your device and browser type, approximate location (city level), and how you found the site
Why we use it: To see which pages help people and improve the site
Tool: Google Ads
What it collects: Whether a visit that started from one of our ads led to a contact, such as a form sent or a call
Why we use it: To measure which ads work, so we don't spend on ones that don't
How to opt out:
Block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
Install Google's Analytics opt-out add-on.
Manage ad settings in My Ad Center.
You can read how Google uses this data in its policy on how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
What we don't do
We don't sell, rent, or trade your information.
We don't use health information for advertising.
We don't show you ads based on your visit to this site (no remarketing), and we don't upload client or contact lists to Google or any other ad platform.
We don't send anything you type into the form to Google.
Sharing, storage and security
We share information only with the services that run this website, the contact form and our analytics (Squarespace, which hosts the website and contact form, and Google), and only so they can provide those services. We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect someone's safety in an emergency.
If you don't become a client, we keep your inquiry in our secure email so we have the context if you reach out again. You can ask us to delete it at any time. We use reasonable safeguards to protect what you send us, such as password-protected accounts and two-step sign-in, but no website or email system is completely secure.
Your choices
You can ask us at any time to:
Tell you what information we have from your website visit or inquiry
Correct it
Delete it, unless the law requires us to keep it (for example, clinical records once you're a client)
This website is for adults and for parents or guardians of teens. We work with teens ages 13 to 17 with a parent's or guardian's involvement, and we ask that a parent or guardian make the first contact. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Crisis notice, changes and contact
Don't use the contact form, email or text in an emergency. If you're in crisis or thinking about harming yourself, call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline) or call 911.
If we change this policy, we'll post the new version here with a new effective date.
